Visited Normandy two days ago. Private Sydney Granoff, RIP. Killed on June 12, 1944 fighting for democracy. Burried amongst 9388 comrades, at the American cemetery, Omaha Beach in Normandy, France. Jews and Christians, all the same respect. Cross or star of David, no difference. What happened to us?

I saw this writing yesterday, on a normandy beach where USA rangers landed on D-Day and helped other US and allied troops free Europe and save democracy. Will we be able to save our own democracy now?
