I’ll agree it’s not stellar! I did only mean to say his first term clobbers his second term. But I see that just makes me a different brand of “Actually,” guy.

Everything else he’s done will be dwarfed by the long term effects of Covid.

You’d run out of subjects. Criminal with Phoebe Judge has probably done a few.

No that’s where they’re keeping the last person who used the bathroom.

Try Vineland! I’ve bounced off Gravity’s Rainbow like 3 times, but tore straight through Vineland. Seems like the happy medium between Gravity’s Rainbow and The Crying of Lot 49. And clearly the direct inspiration for One Battle After Another.

You can say that we were doomed to failure due to our poor character, but it was not materially out of reach until 2016. If every American woke up tomorrow with all the right ideas in their heads, billions will still die from climate disasters. If that had happened in 2015 we might have had a shot.

No. Until Trump I we were terrible but salvageable. There was still the prospect that if we straightened out and flew right, we might could fix climate change and our economy both with MMT and a green new deal. Hillary would have ruined us too, but that’s when we were irredeemably ruined.

No law but property turns out to be slavery with extra steps.

Very glad libertarians like Hans-Hermann Hoppe are out there to spell it out.

Sure, everything is just a question for your table. It’s still an interesting schism - our understanding of good and evil and has changed since 1980. It’s like Klingons in TOS vs TNG. And people take it personally because it does relate to changing views on whiteness.

Oh I can stick up for these views. If it’s complicated enough for Tolkien to struggle with, that tells me it’s not hollow at all.

There is a valid and interesting schism between “Old School Renaissance” vs traditional vs story games. And another interesting axis determined by whether orcs are inherently evil.

Thanks to the Steam Box.

The whole point of buying it is he doesn’t have to be.

That’s all that’s left after giving her stylist opposite instructions every day. “I’m trying to bag an elderly Fox News viewer” “Now I need to pitch at Vanity Fair” “Fox News” “Vanity Fair” “Fox News” “Vanity Fair” etc etc.
