Played in my first RCQ today, EOE limited.

My sealed pool was decent, but nothing crazy. Was able to make top 8 for EOE draft. Happy to say that I made finals and earned an invitation to one of next years RCs.

Lost G3 in the finals, but I think the last two games were pretty competitive.

Saturday prerelease p1!

Played BG this morning with a completely colorless top end. My goal was to be a bit removal heavy until Thrumming Hivepool was online.

Friday Prerelease decks!

Found some free time between the two events today to eat and more importantly post yesterday’s decklists.

First event I played RGW and RG in the second event.

Both events I went 2-1 with the loss in the last round.

Had a great time at #MTGEternities prerelease today! Went 2-1 both events. Starter each event strong, but faced stronger opponents in round 3.

My winning play for the 3-0 was pretty awesome. Aerith Rescue Mission, tapping their board, followed by Unexpected Requesting their largest creature, which allowed me to equip a Warrior's Sword for exactly lethal.

Just barely made it back in town on time to play in the last #MTGxFinalFantasy draft. My first 3-0 draft ever! Played a fun Boros deck.

After a three week mathematics research trip, I finally got to get back into drafting #MTGxFinalFantasy!

Drafted an okay Dimir deck today. Went 2-1 after losing R1 to a strong Izzet deck.

Did not get to 1-shot anyone with Odin, but it was easy removal bait 😂

Looking forward to playing FNM!

Participated in my first paper #MTGxFinalFantasy draft today. Moreover, this is my first paper draft in over 10 years.

Opened pack 1, pick 1 with Ancient Adamantoise and committed to Green. To everyone's surprise at the table tonight, I ended up drafting Mono-G and finished 2-1!

Some really great pulls such as Ancient Copper Dragon Showcase, Vivi Orniter, and Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER.

Got back from my last day of #MTGxFinalFantasy prerelease. Unfortunately, only four players participated so today was only two rounds. That being said, I was the 2-0 player today!

I played a Dimir control/graveyard deck that played a lot better than I thought it would.

Just got back from #MTGxFinalFantasy prerelease Day 2! Tonight was a win-a-box. 8 participants so we planned to cut to top 4 after 3 rounds. I won the first two rounds to secure a spot in top 4. We decided to split the box, so I finished with 9 prize packs!

Given that Final Fantasy X was my favorite video game as a kid, it was only fitting for the Counter Blitz deck to be my first ever commander deck.

I'm looking forward to cracking this open, but first I have to find the right sleeves, any recommendations?

In celebration of passing my PhD defense yesterday, I participated in my first prerelease since Return to Ravnica last night.

I played an equipment focused Boros deck that used several of the new Job select cards. Let me know what you think!
