Went 4-1 in a six-person rotisserie draft of monored cube. Loved my deck and the soothsayer+gargadon combo was awesome. Lost to Goblins chumpblocking to buy enough time to combo kill me with Kiki jiki or Muxus.

Had a sick Jeskai Kiki combo cube deck this evening. My favorite event was Hedron Crabbing myself then Collectors Cage, find Karmic Guide reanimate Kiki reanimate Village Bellringer. Also ephemerated a manifested bellringer to win.

Capped it off with an 0-2 with a pretty bad deck in @turn3coco.bsky.social’s CoCo Cube. Tried some stuff out I hadn’t done and it didn’t come together very well. Playing only 2 cocos is probably griefing.

Won a for-funsies team draft of Monored Cube with this nice artifact deck. Agatha’s soul cauldron on gingerbrute and steel overseer carried me. Never got to make the Chad mako+LED play

Lost to @GavinVerhey in the top 64 in Old Border Foil cube. Tried to draft Storm and had to pivot into a Forbiddian Reanimator deck. Sad to not get to draft the maximum number of times but the event was a blast overall!

Lost a super close finals in the 6 drop cube to finish 2-1, but good enough for the final day. I cast Moltensteel Hellkite on turn 4, put all my life into it on t5 and then toil//troubled my opponent for lethal. #cubecon2025 #wotcstaff

Got to make a toooon of zombies and 3-0 with this sick sultai graveyard deck in the @TheChicagoCube. Scavenging Ooze plus Teval is just plain dirty. Super fun cube based around 3-color synergy clusters. #cubecon2025 #wotcstaff

3-0 the Ravnica/Time Spiral Standard cube with UGw Pickles Glare. Never got to execute the Brine lock, but did get to make 12 saprolings with Vesuvan+Thelonite. So much fun, highly recommend this cube. #cubecon2025 #wotcstaff

3-0 the Ravnica/Time Spiral Standard cube with UGw Pickles Glare. Never got to execute the Brine lock, but did get to make 12 saprolings with Vesuvan+Thelonite. So much fun, highly recommend this cube. #cubecon2025 #wotcstaff

Went 5-0 into top 8 at the WOTC EOE championship. Had a sick UB splinter twin deck. I made an opponent draw 30 cards and lose 30 life through untap shenanigans, and Consulted the Star Charts to put it all together. Super fun deck!

After rotation got back in the standard leagues and building more Sarkhan decks. This Mardu build really leverages Neriv+Nova Hellkite combos and is a blast! Plays a lot like the BR Dragons deck back in DTK standard. #wotcstaff

Numbers Big! This is my favorite Spacecraft, it really conveys the "nuke it from orbit" feel. I think we only made a single change to this card ever, which is unusual. I've got some casual combo decks brewed up with Screaming Nemesis and Pain for All I'm excited to try out!

Biotech Specialist has been an integral part of some of the most fun FFL decks I've played in the last few years. I've always got a soft spot for cards that can deal ~12 damage out of nowhere, and the Specialist can certainly do that with enough setup.

Nova Hellkite looks unassuming, but there's neat synergies with Warp that makes it very fun. I will be building lots of Sarkhan Dragon Stompy decks when Edge releases :). I pitched the ability to add a small amount of utility in the right metagame. The art is also amazing!

Balancing card draw spells is difficult. Make it too easy to draw too many cards at once and there's no incentive to turn the corner and end the game. We changed Consult a million times, but I love the final card. It can find your 3rd land or give huge selection in the late game.

Went 3-1 at FNM with this Sultai Dragons deck. Teval is a super fun card to walk the razors edge with. Casting a fully kicked Three Steps for 2 mana and only losing 1 life is quite the feeling. #wotcstaff

I've been waiting literal years to be able to play Cloud+Astor+Warwhip+Lavaspur Boots. The Boots+Warwhip curves deal a bunch of damage and are resilient. Cloud lets you find all the missing pieces or interact. It's been tons of fun! Do have to dodge Ultima though. #wotcstaff
