Hmm, that's an interesting idea, thanks! I'll playmwith it. And repurposing historical designs like that is always fun.
On the other hand I kinda want to avoid as much articulation as I can for maintenance purposes.

I would like that a lot too. Most important to me would be the ability to use the Blender VR scene inspection and other vr 3d software. So a tool first and foremost

Oh, and I've named a spaceship in my project, which was partially inspired by the SR-75 Blackbird after La Merle (tail number- HA-MRL). I'm so looking forward fleshing out the production model of it.

First saw La Merle in college. Fell in love with it instantly.
As an animated filmmaker working on a glacial project, while there's no delight in it, McLaren's struggle and resolve behind the film is quite inspiring,
