And I can’t blame people who think “serves us right” because I have that thought too. And it’s comforting in a way. Crime and punishment on some cosmic level. But it’s wrong. And the folks that die will likely be the most vulnerable amongst us

And even if someone voted for this administration with clear eyes and hearts full of hate they are still human and have the right to food and medicine and safety. And perhaps if they had that they would think differently. Or maybe they wouldn’t but at least why wouldn’t be so scared

And it will kill democrats and republicans alike. It will kill people who live in gerrymandered districts and people whose votes were suppressed.
