I’ve spent my entire 50 year life condemning the need for guns in the home, and am seriously considering buying one. We are living under a tyrannical regime.

How long before Central and South America unite and become something like the EU? That’s what I would be pushing for if I lived dow there. Trump is literally creating future global adversaries.

Yes Tim he will. WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ABOUT IT??

If the UN and ICC do not convene in emergency session TODAY and issue arrest warrants for Trump then frankly I agree with the facsist GOP that they are useless organizations

We had to pay a fortune and wait more than a year for a hearing because CBP had him down as a permanent resident despite him having a US passport. This is what people don’t get - ICE puts no effort into due process and paperwork is all over the place. Scary.

Thx, will watch for it. People have no idea how complex our immigration laws and history are. I got a crash course dealing with a paperwork issue for one of my adults kids, adopted in Russia after the Child Citizenship Act of 2000 but before INS issued Certificates of Citizenship automatically.

Looks very interesting. Do you expect it to be available on Kindle and / or Audible?

Wow, just wow. I absolutely love Rogue One. Fascinating how people can have such different responses.

Good review, and sums up how I feel. I did everything in HK except Godhome, and what frustrates me about Silksong is in terms of music, art, upgrades, exploration it’s a masterpiece but there is just a ton of low value difficulty. Just repeat something over and over. Just let me play the game!

I used to think this way. But over the last two decades here in NC I’ve directly witnessed the intentional destruction of public education. I have kids age 25 thru 8, so I have witnessed it firsthand. Our schools were once to be envied, the GOP through gerrymandering has caused huge damage.

… and the congress will ignore it.

The US is fundamentally broken at every level.

Don’t focus just on Trump. In any functioning democracy, the legislature would immediately pass a bill holding him in contempt for just making this statement. It’s probably grounds for impeachment.

There is a complete abdication of accountability at every level. The US is fundamentally broken.

I am 49 and it’s no exaggeration to say this game clicked with me immediately at the perfect age and I have never stopped playing its many descendants.

Currently playing Bravely Default remaster on Switch 2.

I’m with you. I’ve protested and will continue to do so, while also making many calls to reps and senators, etc.
July 5, 2025 at 6:10 PM
I get the point, but please don’t joke about this. Some of us have kids adopted from Russia and due to INS messing up paperwork between 2000 and 2003, we’ve gone to great expense and time to get new certificates of citizenship, and remain concerned about their docs being misunderstood.

Same, and unlike Oblivion, these will run well on my Steam Deck :-)

Glasses, tires, and appliances. They don’t always look cheaper but you are not charged extra for anything, hauling away old appliances, connection hardware, etc.

Hollow Knight mentioned. Please reassure me that Silksong is coming…

Word 97 received its last service update in October 1999, meaning if you are still using it you’ve been exposed to bugs and security issues for 25 years. MS 365 provides tremendous value by comparison; it costs money to support and enhance software.

Yeah, and that copy of Word cost you $250 and was outdated in 2 years, while today we pay $99 / year for the whole family to have constant updates and the whole suite of world class office software.
