Yeah, will have to see how he develops but he’s got great potential.

For me, the biggest problem is, and has been for decades, finding that 6 who can control the tempo.
I like Wharton, his line breaking passing is excellent, but I fear he may be more of an 8 or someone you want alongside your 6.
Tuchel’s midfield choices not filling me with optimism so far.

I still find it odd Southgate decided to go into his final tournament with Bellingham so high and Alexander-Arnold deep in midfield. As you explain, nature of the England team limits Bellingham in the 10 and Alexander-Arnold’s creativity was completely stifled.
