Finished Daughter of the Moon Goddess and found myself crying at the end. There’s a lot going on in life and this one struck a nerve, but a good one. And the mythology was super cool.

Also finished Bury Your Gays by Chuck Tingle and holy shit! HOLY SHIT! I’m not only terrified, I feel understood in a way I’ve never felt before. Tingle not only had a way to shock me out of fear but also breaking 4th walls and giving me introspection about society and authenticity. Amazing work!

Started watching Jentry Chau vs. The Underworld on a whim and I’m genuinely impressed. It’s giving me early 2000’s action cartoon but teenage girl and even though I’m nearing middle age like it’s a tractor trailer and I’m a Ford Focus packed with fireworks sans breaks, 17 yr old me loves this.

Finished this Anthology. I loved a far more stories than I disliked. Only one or two really didn’t hit for me but I’m not one for intense shock value body horror. Nor am I for using SA as a way to “develop my character”. But I found a lot of new Indigenous authors to start fanatically reading!

I love this little light gadget. I’ve had it for a year and nothing quite beats the winter blues like artificial aurora borealis in my bedroom.
