That is not AZ, but once a year, I have the privilege to visit this magical place, the American Club in Kohler, WI and they have the most beautiful backyard I know.

Opuntia in full bloom. I moved this plant from a planter in the shade to an open place with afternoon sun. It doubled in size in one year.
