Father and husband. 🇬🇧🇨🇦 Probably called grumpy by most, but deep down quite light hearted. Many trips around the sun, most of it on the bike.
Perhaps frame it in a context of willingly or unwillingly....employers like that kinda stuff. Candidate shows initiative, etc, etc

I was expecting the primer to show more flaws in need of fixing. It’s actually better than expected.
The chassis is next; already modified to fit (Jouef chassis), but needs details added.
For reference, this is a Class 40 locomotive.
If there’s interest I’ll post updates and more pics.

It’s an MTK kit purchased a long time ago. In very poor condition, coated in resin glue from another kit builder. And not the best quality white metal castings.
Countless hours to clean, fix, build, refine details, and add new details. Finally reached a point where I could apply primer.

Me in the meeting:
my sign is the passive aggressive one, the rest of you can work that out…

I don't know, my projects take a long time but mostly because other stuff gets in the way. It's a running joke between a good friend and me on the time it takes to complete something for him.
Almost every project is a bundle of problem solving, and I will take time out to mentally solve somethings.

Can attest to this. Born in the UK, emigrated to Canada when I was little, eventually had a classmate that was Bill Barber’s nephew. Canadian citizenship came several years later.

So glad she was in The Studio...that was such a riotous train wreck that only she could have portrayed the role.

So wonderful to watch her and the entire SCTV crew when I was in my teens. This is a shock.

hehe, that DS in an amateur race, cold chucking it down with rain, and his rider drops back to get warm, the exchange:

Of course it's cold. Shall I pull over and we have hot cup of tea? Now get to the front and race.

I suspect he doesn't ask if they're happy.

Right up there with a good mate/colleague when I explained I didn’t do something because “I are not smrt.”, the reply was “nah, it’s because you’re ugly”

That’s cool.
Jogged another memory, I went to high school with Todd Simko who later went on to form the band Pure. We used to go golfing sometimes.
Sadly he passed away several years ago.
