Agree, it hurts everyone which is why trade wars are so silly (except as a way to hurt countries like Russia).

Walmart might choose to source from a more expensive country if it is cheaper than paying the tariff. It’s different for manufactured goods like from China because no one else is supplying it, and if so still cheaper to pay the tariff.

One thing I forgot to mention in discord. This is how much I know: I knew he went electric, that it was a big deal, and I didn't know why it was (and still don't, really).

At least the location I volunteered at near OSU campus probably bought 50-75% of their food.

There are others that sort through donated food but it takes so much time and is so heavily dependent on volunteers.

Yes but did it return value to the shareholders?

The ones I have known personally yes, though I’m not sure I have a sufficient sample size!

My brother had a girl black long hair and she was 12 pounds soaking wet.

This place (I think Fresh Box, local to Cbus) who helped felons get their life back on track had great boxed lunches. Not a vegetarian but they always had a pesto caprese ciabatta which I always partook in. Think they are closed now :(

Random samples never happen in polling research because of response bias, so they match the sample to the population.

I don't know what you are arguing though, if you are saying on its face the poll makes sense given the MOE.

Arguing abt pollsters makes you sound like a 2020 election denier, fyi.

For instance...the entire US population, not even 18+ or RV/LV

You clearly know nothing about statistics. Feel free to play around! You need a very small representative sample to get a 95% confidence level with low MOE. goodcalculators.com/margin-of-er...

This easy-to-use margin of error (MOE) calculator can be employed to compute the margin of error of a survey in accordance with the sample proportion and size, and the desired confidence level

This is how polling and survey research works. Error rates can work in both directions too, FYI.

That looks rough! I did a 21.3 mile hike at Olympic National Park with similar elevation gain. That was 23m/mi!

I'm signed up for the Chattanooga Full in March - and even those hills kill me!

That’s probably correct. I was not arguing what trump might do, I was fact checking what he said.
