There is a certain type of baseball fan who doesn’t enjoy going to games with me … because my brain doesn’t work the same way as a casual/rah-rah fan.

Fantastic! The whole team has been so generous with their time … and their medals … since winning the gold. Everything you could hope for in a sport’s ambassadors.

Nice! I was living in California during the Ducks’ Cup run. Went to a couple playoff games and then the banner raising the next year.

Thanks! This was one of many pre-Olympic Celebration Tour events scheduled at curling clubs across the country. Our club hosted a kids’ learn-to-curl in the morning, had local TV crews out all day, and then a big party for all club members at night.

Demonstration sport medals aren’t considered part of the official count … but they do hold a medal ceremony for them all.
