Yep! Actually I also remember playing the demo for Fallout 1 on a Computer Gaming World demo disk but I didn't understand the concept of an RPG yet so I just gave up on it.

I was always vaguely aware of Ultima since I was a kid but wasn't really knowledgable until Spoony's series on it. I remember having I think Ultima Underworld on a CD that also came with Wing Commander II, but my focus was entirely on Wing Commander. I didn't actually play a real RPG until FF7 on PC

Funny thing we have like, 5 Stadia controllers we got for dirt cheap on ebay after it shut down. They are actually pretty solid controllers.
