We should not see Jewish identity as synonymous with Israeli zionism. Despite what it claims, Israel does not represent the Jewish people. It’s not correct to frame anti Israeli sentiment as antisemitism.

The dems and republicans have been essentially the same party for the last 30 years in terms of the way they treat capital vs workers. Both sides support capital. Progressives, like Z, can be seen as a third party, in that sense, since they are the only opposition to capital interests on the table

You’re right that he is running as dem but he breaks significantly from party policies (he is pro worker) and, by the fact dem media is denouncing him, we can gather that he’s not a welcome member of the party establishment. So I think it’s fair to distinguish him from the dem party.
