Birds are awesome, all of them. I was fortunate to visit these iconic beauties this year in Scotland.

She lasted till she was 103…. 4’ 11” tall, and until the day before she passed, had a tumbler of whisky with breakfast and supper. She claimed it was the secret to her longevity!

Yes, one or two wee niggles, but generally good. Here’s me and my “wee” Granny at her 100th birthday (I was 17! A long time ago!). She spoke English to me, despite us being in Edinburgh). Used to laugh when she cursed my Granddad out in Gaelic and he’d say “yes Mum”….. he was in his 70s 😂😂
