Like I swear to God, he went from the crate to his food. He didn’t do ANYTHING else.

When I got him home and let him out of the crate, the first thing he did was eat and drink. Second thing he did was come up to me for attention. But y’know…dying cat. :/

Urgent care turned us away.

over eight months since his nose bled at all. I’m genuinely at a loss. I don’t know what happened.

I don’t know why this happened. He was just on Veraflox (antibiotic)—he did throw up some of the doses, but he just stopped it on Friday. It was within hours this happened, allergy attack, swelling, then bleeding, and yesterday he was doing great. I had just bragged to my mother that it had been—

There’s currently some swelling below his eye on the right side, and he hasn’t been eating his kibble as much recently. I worry there may be an abscess that formed in midsts of all this inflammation and secondary bacteria. I won’t feel comfortable until I get him seen though.

He’s “healthy” according to his most recent blood work (Mid-April). All cell counts fine, all disease negative (except FHV & a potential low-ranking heart murmur; but he had been on steroids for a long period before this test for these issues). Everything else…normal.

He has a vet appointment on Wednesday with a new specialist, and I think that’s the most discouraging part. He has had this mysterious upper respiratory issue for over a year, and I have spent about $10k now between tests, specialists, medication, management, and vet visits.
