Omg I'm shocked it's not just a me thing ! This is the first time I've ever left it on accidentally but omg it scared me SO BAD

Genuinely devastating 😭 I don't have the time or energy to remake it again 💔

Same here 💔 Insanely relaxing (but also sometimes thrilling) to go on a ride in nature !

RIGHT??

Thank god the rescue is not letting them be 'rehabilitated' or allowed to be pets. They're going to live their lives as wild as possible, thankfully 💚 SO glad they didn't end up in some random asshole's house as a vanity pet.

They are so OBVIOUSLY wolfdogs I don't understand how you could think they don't look a lot like WILD animals?? Especially a VET ???? Has the vet ever SEEN a German shepherd? 😭😭

Don't get me wrong btw, I know that people have to be careful with unfamiliar people getting on their horses and therefore there's usually a need to assume they don't know anything. I ABSOLUTELY understand that. But that's why it's difficult for me to find somewhere that could trust me !

I love the expectation that dingoes are completely wild animals and then seeing them in captivity given a simple tennis ball and losing their everliving minds like a border collie LOL

I think the best present anyone could ever get me ATM would be like a half day group trail ride through the mountains or forest in the Scottish countryside. But god it's like £500 😭
January 15, 2026 at 5:30 PM
Oh I haven't had ANY formal training at all, just used to hang out with horse folks a lot and had them teach me and ride their horses lol. I'm nowhere NEAR any sort of expert or high level at all, I just know I'm past the "you need to be led on reins because you don't know how horses work" level 😭
January 15, 2026 at 5:28 PM
My friend used to stick me on her (very calm and sweet) horse and just let me feel it out and get used to riding myself without strict instructions and that was WONDERFUL for me because I get EXTREMELY antsy and nervous with actual lessons for anything lol
January 15, 2026 at 5:27 PM
I sadly never got to take official lessons since my family could never afford it or there wasn't somewhere near where we lived/ etc. But I have been around horses a lot via extended family that had horses and hanging out at stables with my friend who had horses. I miss it 😭
January 15, 2026 at 5:26 PM
I just feel like even if I found someone that would do a trail ride I'd be like attached via reins to them the whole time and wouldn't be able to like think for myself and be trusted enough to know what I was doing if you get me ?? I just want the freedom that comes with riding 😭😭
January 15, 2026 at 5:24 PM
Thinking about the time me and a bunch of my extended family went on a trail ride with a bunch of their horses through the woods down to a lake and it's one of my favourite memories of ALL time because I was young and they still knew me enough to know I don't need to be like, guided or assisted
January 15, 2026 at 5:23 PM
And trail rides are SO expensive now I don't think if be able to afford going on one of I found a place 💔💔 I don't want to do like a beginners sort of short hack or anything because that doesn't fulfill the same desire and I'm not like fully inexperienced with horses shdjd

"Ooh this is like a relaxing massage compared to mine" type response from women is always my fave LMAO
