That's exactly the thought process me and my partner were talking about earlier today! We and some friends had watched the Slenderman movie a few nights ago, and Manos: The Hands Of Fate last night, and it was night and day how much more fun we had with the latter compared to Slenderman.

My partner loves to see the value and heart put into bad movies and games and honestly i think that kind've thinking helps people appreciate ideas more even if the people behind them weren't able to flesh them out fully for one reason or another

I will vehemently defend watching bad media whether it's video games or movies

Gonna quote a blurb i saw for a Manos: The Hands Of Fate game someone is making:

"You end up watching two movies at once. The movie that it wanted to be, and what it become."

Which honestly adds a whole depth to it all

my friends will regularly try to talk me down from buying games we all are pretty certain will be bad. they cannot understand that i am entirely prepared to play a bad game. there's a lot of value to be found in trying bad things. also, bad things are sometimes good in unconventional ways

Really easy, I've played through most of prime 2 on it. Works extremely well and iirc I had to do minimal setup for it

I'd give it another week or so until they find something else to get stupidly angry over. My moneys on an announcement at The Game Awards drawing their ire and making them forget about horses lol

I'm almost convinced it's a mix of typical gamers being extremely anal in general, and them being bored as hell with nothing better to do in their lives.

Even if you have to put it off until everything's much smoother in your lives, don't sweat it yo! Friendships and your own healths are important!
