American by birth, Southern by God’s grace. Small L libertarian who believes less Government = more Freedom.
The Covid subsidies delayed the realization of how expense ACA is. It was paid by taxpayers until recently but hidden because it came from a different government pocket. Single payer plans avoid competition and monopolize healthcare.

I joined Bluesky in 11/24 to escape the echo chamber X had become. I wanted to defend my beliefs and have my logic tested. Solid opinions aren't built on innuendo and hearsay. I have found some who tested my values, 346 insulted or blocked me, according to Clearsky. It's just a liberal hugbox.

“Allegedly”; an accusation without proof. A belief based on fantasy and feelings rather than reality and facts.

Potash, urea, and Ammonium nitrate to name a few. It’s used in the manufacture of fertilizers farmers use to grow the crops we eat.

Have you compared the educational stats from 1976 when the department was created and the current ones? The DOE has failed its mission. Get rid of it.

Epstein had sex related convictions going back to 2008. Trump wasn’t even on the radar then. Republican & Democrat presidents, congressmen, and representatives have had the ability to release the files but didn’t. The slime is everywhere and covers both parties. We’ll never see all the files.

Prior to the ACA passage those opposed said it would be unaffordable. The Covid subsidies delayed that realization by 5 years by paying for it out of another taxpayer pocket. It doesn’t make sense to continue to fund a failing government program.
December 22, 2025 at 12:00 AM
Didn’t the Republicans say it was unaffordable and wouldn’t vote for it? The Covid subsidies covered that fact and now, rather than admit it’s a money jar for insurance companies and get rid of it, you just want the taxpayer to put more money in the jar. Make this make sense.

The Dems had 15 years as well. If not for the Covid subsidies ACA’s failure would have been apparent years ago. Only now do we see how expensive it has become.

Check your sources. Republican Joe Barton said wind was a finite solution. Nothing about the earths rotation. Democrat Hank Johnson, however, feared the island of Guam would flip and capsize with the addition of 8,000 troops on the island.

Ironic that the picture is from the University of California Davis protests in 2011 when Obama was in office.

ya know the Venezuelan government isn’t participating in the drug trade…..
Verified by who?
The boats are destroyed because they are transporting cocaine.
December 2, 2025 at 9:40 PM
No charges, no trial. At this point it’s speculation, nothing more. Same as Obama.
December 2, 2025 at 2:51 PM
Work with the country that’s allowing the drugs to leave their jurisdiction in the first place? The bombing are not random but verified as drug smugglers.
December 2, 2025 at 2:48 PM
Didn’t Obama order a drone strike that killed American children in defiance of legal statues? The legality of Trumps actions hasn’t been determined.
December 2, 2025 at 2:37 PM
Are proposing stationing our soldiers in other countries, a violation of their rights? Scanning the seas by satellite or radar is far more effective and less intrusive of other countries.

Not an expert on international law so I’ll defer to my government on what’s legal are not.
December 2, 2025 at 2:13 PM
Partially true. Burglary tools are legal if you’re a locksmith but possessing them in the vicinity of a locked building will result in arrest. Same if you have loads of Sudafed and no viable reason for possessing that much.
December 2, 2025 at 2:11 PM
In international waters, UNCLOS is the governing body and differ from Americas laws concerning legal rights. It’s not a crime to protect a nation’s interest on the ocean and drug smuggling under UNCLOS is illegal.
December 2, 2025 at 1:54 PM
Yes they can carry a lot of drugs. The fuel is not in the motors but in fuel tanks on the boat and islanders travel to and from the islands all the time. Killing drug smugglers and the Epstein files aren’t related. You do know he signed the bill to release them don’t you?
December 2, 2025 at 3:35 AM
Correct, and it covered up the true cost of ACA. Less these credits it would be obvious ACA isn’t viable, inexpensive healthcare.
December 2, 2025 at 3:13 AM
Killing someone whose actions will result in the death of others is not murder. It may be an intentional killing but it’s not murder. If that’s the hill you defend then every policeman, every serviceman, in deed anyone who has killed to save others is a murderer.
December 2, 2025 at 3:06 AM
I’ll cede some of your points but island hopping the illegal drugs, fentanyl or cocaine, to the U.S. endangers others. The Mexican border is closing so another route is down south. Regardless of where it originates killing those responsible is justified.
December 2, 2025 at 2:49 AM
Nope. Suppling the LEGAL ingredients Of fentanyl is far away from the ready made ILLEGAL product. Might as well say rubbing one out in the shower is murder because it’s 1/2 of what is needed for a human.
