I used to live by the store where they get all their sauces for Hot Ones and most of them are very good but Da Bomb is the only one I ever tried where I'm like "i dont understand why anyone want that"

I recently read a book "Shielded" on this subject and youre a former lawyer so you'd know better than I, but the legal bar to convict a police officer or have them fired is impossibly high, even before taking into consideration all the lying, gaslighting and propaganda.

One of my former employers just held a retreat in Austin and flew the whole staff down, and while yeah thats a nice gesture, but if I was a non-white employee I'd have been terrified to attend (and I'll be some didn't). It struck me as tone deaf.
