This is very interesting. There are questions. Do all plants have this gene already or is it just the poplar? If you introduce it to plants that don't have it, hat does that change about the plant? Should we introduce this gene into plants that don't have it or it isn't activated?

I couldn't agree more. I own a construction company focused on regenerative design, permaculture and natural building. I used to work in mainstream construction and it made me sick to see the amount of "waste" that was produced. There is no excuse for this.

I was thinking for housing developments having an on site prefab "factory" for wall panels would produce a consistently superior product while reducing shipping of finished products. There are so many options that are better than what we currently use.
