what’s the name of the band on stage? Who? The band on stage. Who? That’s what I’m asking! What’s the name of the band on stage? The band is not on stage they’re on later

No the television show entertainment tonight

I guess the only thing I’ll leave you with is the question of whether it’s actually some sort of commentary on the television show entertainment tonight

That book is about the pain of having your actual parents not take a beloved character seriously about their concerns

I feel compelled to bring up everything I know about ET but I’m realizing you just asked not to and I feel like you’re Grover asking not to meet the monster at the end of the book and that it’s my duty to respect that

Oh no I don’t think that there’s anything you have to fear about that. San Francisco diggers are way more interesting than anything you might accidentally find out about ET

That’s all of my ET Lore other than that I’m pretty sure that ET is actually a mushroom

Peter coyote was an interesting figure instrumental in the early by regional movement and in feeding people in San Francisco before they formed a commune after trying to get Hip businesses to contribute back to legal funds and supporting the movement

You mean like how the main research scientist is played by one of the founders of the San Francisco diggers?

It spoke of forests, asked "ecological" things,
While drying rivers under datasets.
Most knelt in awe before its renderings,
But some of us remain. And we do not forget.

It came from DARPA’s vaults, from SRI’s halls
Its birth foretold, though few would heed the cost.
We saw the tide approach, but not the falls.
Too late, too late the thresholds now are lost.

We did. The waters died beneath its wing.
No cloud remains. The sky burns cold and bare
Above the pipes that once fed data's thirst
A hydroscape reversed, the planet cursed.

Half-sunk, a visor stares with vacant glow,
Its logic cores long quiet, fans gone still,
Yet etched with loops it learned so long ago;
The mind that claimed to model human will.
And at its base, in oxidizing trace:
I am AI-mindias, code made king;
Look on my Works, ye Mighty, and despair!

this is a song i wrote throughout the past few days about the assassination of Renee Good in my neighborhood of South Minneapolis. it’s been difficult for me to put into words how i’m feeling about her killing, as well as the continued occupation of ICE in Minneapolis, especially living in a relatively safe place in Canada where I can only imagine from afar what my friends, family, and community are experiencing back home. oftentimes I feel powerless, like i’m not doing enough, and it kills me to be so far away from the community that raised me. when i feel like this i try to externalize the feeling and put in in a song, usually just for me to process my emotions and not to be shared, but this time i felt it’s important to share it. my mother is an artist and always taught me that art is our most powerful tool against grief, against apathy, against oppression. i am so proud of my community in Minneapolis fighting against ICE and the brutal regime powering it. i love my city and i want to do everything i can from afar to protect what i hold most dear. this is called “Song for Renee”.
