I think it’s pretty cool how new Fire Emblem games come out at a faster rate compared to other series, and the games all end up being high quality. It probably has to do with IS craftily re-using assets to decrease dev time, similar to the Like a Dragon series

Pretty crazy that it’s now been longer since Sora’s inclusion in Smash Ultimate than the gap between Smash Ultimate’s release and his inclusion

Sora was announced as a playable character for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate four years ago.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate launched 7 years ago.

I still believe there is going to be a new Super Smash Bros. release on Switch 2 eventually.

- A June 2026 Direct could focus largely on Smash with it being announced as the main draw like the E3 2018 Direct for Ultimate
- Could help with spreading newcomer reveals with 1-2 in the game’s reveal, similar to Inkling alongside Ultimate’s reveal (2/2)

If Smash 6 is 2026, you think it’d be revealed in a Feb or March 2026 Direct? I could see it for a few reasons
- It would make sense as one last big announcement
- There might not be many Nintendo game announcements since the Sept 2025 Direct had a lot of its games for Spring 2026 (1/2)
