I've been suspecting this dub could exist for years because of exactly ONE site claiming S2 had been broadcasted in France, and the fact that the name of one of its episodes on the english Wikipedia page for the show mentioned “Chouca”, which is Snorkmaiden's name in the french dub specifically...

I also like that they kept Jack's autistic hyperfixation from the movie but directed it towards the Heartless and specifically wanting to make them dance. That's so silly.

I've only seen a full let's play of KH1 so far, but knowing now that this game's Halloween Town is set some time before/around the events of the movie, I'm okay with it! The way they incorporated the Heartless is interesting, and I don't think it would've fit better in any of the game's other worlds

The latter point relates to Nightmare Before Christmas. Since I had looked into the Halloween Town segments without the rest of the game's context, I was under the impression it was supposed to take place after the movie, and thought it didn't make sense with all the characters having been "reset".
