Maybe this is the most millennial thing I will ever say… but why isn’t there a social network where you are just “friends” with your real life in-person friends? And you can post life updates and invite friends to real life events like birthday parties, etc. without having to text everyone or email?

The sweater continues to progress. I’m using the sweater I finished over Christmas break to help me gauge the length. So excited to maybe get this done! #pinkskyPost

With my social media hiatus I’ve had more time for knitting. Last night I split for the sleeves of this sweater that I’m making up as I go. The yarn is so lovely! #dyemadyarns

I’ve been kicking around the idea for two separate local groups for Tulsa. One that would be a mutual-aid group for old house owners to get together to help each other with our ongoing projects. And the other would be a knitting/fiber-arts circle where we discuss community action.

Well… the last day on TikTok was beautiful, touching, and emotional. I cried a lot. I will miss it. I don’t know what my social media interactions will look like for a while… but I will be taking a break from all Meta apps, at least for this week.
