I personally dont really care about sharing content privately (in DMs, i mean - discord servers arent private), to me that's the same as showing a friend something on your phone in person. But public sharing risks ruining it for everyone else, and all for what? A bunch of like notifications?

The creator has set a boundary, told it to you explicitly, and had it ignored. Do you expect them to want to do more events like this after that?
