We had a dog who loved to play "camp out" with our daughter when she was little. Other 2 dogs mostly kept a wide berth, except my Lab would hover when baby girl was holding food nonchalantly. She once swiped a tortilla from her hand bc she was recklessly waving it around. Poor Emma couldn't resist

People talk about Black people having over the top Thanksgiving meals. Even as an immigrant, I recognize that the history of depriving Black people of resources/wealth are why these occasions are important to the community. I don’t know why white America doesn’t understand what seems very obvious.
