Anyway, I'm getting my RX-79 G kit right on time for my birthday, and yes, it IS the romance that sold me on getting it, not the iconic and brilliantly animated mech fight scenes.

On one hand, she's happy to finally find him alive. Not unscathed having lost his leg, but alive. You can hear the relief. Yet she's also looking at the man she loved living in peace with another woman that he's now having a child with. You can hear the heartbreak just as loudly.

c. 2019. I still regret not sticking around long enough to see the transformation. But it was still insanely cool to have seen one of these life-sized Gundam statues, even before I'd gotten back into the franchise. Would love to visit the one in Fukuoka someday.
