Sailor doggo in the UK
One of my friends is seriously considering building a wooden sleeping pod just big enough to crawl into, slung from the ceiling of his bedroom. Think human bird-box, I guess. So you might not be alone.

Did you get the question about Scrooge right?

Once upon a time pretty much every account giving you access to the internet, came with a few megabytes of hosting space for you to make your own web page. It was just assumed that having a “home page“ was part of being online.

Mine have always been in the evening so that the funk as druck feels more seemly, but I really can’t argue with your logic 😁

You guys have the office Christmas party at 10am?

My parents do a good turkey, in the barbecue. It’s moist and has a slight smokey taste. I like their turkey, but now you mention it, there are other things that would be even better.

Eh; if you’ve only ever heard pievié being said as one word, and never realised it was an initialism…

You are not alone. I also saw “movie camera” until quite recently.

Are you Those Lawyers, though, or are those some other lawyers?

Plus it’s not like even a big fir tree is something you can really climb and sit in the top of. It’s too dense, and most of the branches are too thin.

(Yes, I tried it, but as a kid rather than a 40yo lawyer)

Apart from the whole “separate table or not” issue, is spaghetti and sauce really the most practical thing to give a bunch of unsupervised toddlers at a busy event where they and everyone around them are dressed in their best clothes?

And very tight Lycra.

I visited Paris and Berlin a few months ago, and while planning I joined a local Reddit group for each city to get ideas of what to do. Both groups had a Trump death party thread, discussing plans for when it happens.

Huh. I was thinking about the cover art. I’m not really very familiar with typesetting but I’m surprised there’s any significant creative work in converting a novel from manuscript format to print/ebook format. What sort of thing are they doing?

One of the fun parts of getting into furry these last few years has been commissioning artists to produce unique pieces just for me, work together on getting it just right, and pay them a fair price for a job well done. Not something that most people tend to do.

And as someone without those skills and tools, I suspect I could still commission someone to do that work for less than the traditional publisher would take.

Love a good squirrel tail.

They didn’t. Sticky back plastic was something completely different, the OP is wrong as well as angry.

We used sticky back plastic at school to reinforce book covers.

Fourteen people, but most of them probably below either working gear, processing catch, or resting. One guy in the wheelhouse dozing off or getting distracted sounds very believable to me.

It is already impacting him, because fewer people are buying his cars, because they don’t want to be subjected to this sort of thing.

If you’re going to drive a Tesla, this is the way to do it 👍

I know it from electricians and boatbuilders too.
