Update: I wasn't expecting Archebot to get recognized this quickly or at all, but it's already in close to 50 servers. I recognize that this is a huge responsibility so I'll do my best to keep things working as best as I can. I'll be using this account to post updates on Archebot when applicable.

I help moderate a server. Even if we didn't have Archebot, I would keep external apps enabled. That way, if someone tries to AI someone else's art, it's visible to all. If we can see it, that means myself or another mod can warn/kick/ban the user who used the command so it doesn't happen again.

Imo this is better, for that very reason. If I disable external apps, the AI stuff will still work, it'll just be ephemeral. It won't be in DMs but it'll still only be visible to the command user. Here's a screenshot of what an ephemeral message from one of my discord bots. Note the blue highlight.

I encourage people with programming knowledge to fork Archebot and make it better. Right now it's literally just 43 lines of Python. It's super simple and gets the job done, but I'm sure those who are smarter than me can make it better.
I won't ask for credit, I just want to see AI die.

I try to stay off of most social media, so I created this account just to share this message. I realize this may make me look like a bot or a scammer, so here is a Tumblr post with more information that I made a few months ago to show that I'm not making this up:

This is actually trivially easy to achieve with a small amount of Python. It works by detecting messages sent from those AI accounts and deleting them before they are visible.
Like all forms of prevention, this isn't foolproof. A dedicated art thief will find ways around this.

As some people in the replies are saying, and as I have just confirmed through testing, this does not stop people from using the bot's commands in your servers!
I actually coded a bot that you can add to your servers to prevent people from using this feature to steal art.
