For real. In my early days I worked with conservative orgs to oppose anti cryptography policies under Clinton. When GW launched GWOT and started trampling civil rights I reached out to the same orgs to fight it….crickets.

I’d really have appreciated a lot more focus on the absolute criminality of what’s happening here. The US kidnapped a foreign leader and is expressing intent to commit a war crime. That toothless section at the end was not enough.
