It does seem like the plan is to "private equity" everything - almost solely based on the current tax code. Which is why "carried interest" needs to go - NOW.

In general - I'm against shaming folks in public, especially women. However, I'll make a huge exception for the women minions in Drumpf's circle. I'm thinking France collaborator punishment: heads shaved with dull blades with jeering crowds, then off to court in US and prison.

Agree. Everything in US, since some of our ancestors stole the land from brown skin natives (not white); and thought slavery (all colors, but mostly not white) was a good idea from ancient times. It's always been about race & unfortunately it looks like it always will be.

I see a Fahrenheit 451 scenario in play here. Where citizens don't read but just look at pictures. When I read all those books in 70's and 80's, it was Science Fiction, not a planning guide for rich folks to keep citizens ignorant while they take over everything & enslave us for no/low wages.

Yep. Universal Health Care in US would solve so many problems. We would save money as a country if we have it - (google the math - it's out there)

However, so many of our health & Insurance companies & shareholders would suffer economically so our citizens have to suffer so they can make money.

Yep. We can add this to our list of failed "Good Guy with a Gun" examples. My view: Ban Assault weapons entirely; Then folks need to register all their remaining weapons, pay an annual registration fee and carry insurance - like we all have to do for our vehicles. See - you can keep your guns.
