I’m not jealous at all that my kid is going to get to see it in a few weeks with Park Chan Wook in attendance. I need to find that Westlake book. Last I checked it was a bit pricey.

The eldest is taking an Indigenous Art class in college and I guess the discussion turned to horror. They said someone in the back of class asked “Has anyone heard of Stephen Graham Jones,” and I would have paid to have seen how my kid reacted.

I’m down in Hampton, VA. Partly to work on clearing stuff out of my dad’s house. He’s 83 and doesn’t spend much time there and is thinking of selling it.

So I was able to get tickets for The Life of Chuck at the Savannah Film Festival, featuring a Q&A with @markhamillofficial.bsky.social. Seems like a great way to finish off the Chucktober festivities. Yes I am flying to Savannah to see a movie I’ve already seen twice in a theater.
