Witnessed a NM Public Employees Labor Board hearing this morning. Most employees at National Hispanic Cultural Ctr. are covered under CWA contract. However, a good chunk of them are “temporary” workers w/ yearly expiring contracts. One for 21 YEARS!

Happy New Year. Was quiet here in SE ABQ. Either that or I just can’t hear anymore? Have black eye peas soaking and some cabbage I’ll roast in the oven. Affirming the best for all of us🥰

Burning Bowl ceremony at church this morning. Only one tiny piece of flash paper. Obviously I’ll need to burn a bonfire in the back gravel on the eve to burn this year down properly! #BurnItDown
