I think it also speaks to a distrust on the ability of artists to come up with visuals that you want to micromanage by trying to describe art in an overtly detailed way. This is just the most egregious way to go about it.

I honestly think the energy of this article should be aimed towards newer physical media rather than streaming.

As much as I use it and watch stuff on my Netflix account and stuff, the whole economy behind it is suspect, and broken in disadvantage to creatives in a way that I don't care about.

I get it though. Not everyone shares the same areas of proficiency, and as of late, tech does not want you to have enough control over it to learn about stuff like this.

However convenience is becoming too expensive and that money is not going to the people that really created something.

I am a firm believer that we need pulp and "trash" but that list is kind of discouraging. So little variety.

Idk if it is unfair but I kind of feel the writers didn't research as much as they should.
