I think given these racial dynamics i am okay with Katie bringing back up but also agree she needs to back up her claims. When these women smell weakness, they tend to turn on that person.

Definitely one of the most demoralizing parts of teaching were unexpected attacks on parts of my identity as a human, especially when you show up to teach in person which can be so vulnerable already and then you have to find ways to deal with things students say as if they don’t see you at all.
