Xochitl Gálvez, candidate of the coalition that ran against Morena in the last Mexican election, cussed all the time. It made her sound uncouth and, key, made others think she had no manners (a huge deal in Mexico). She did it to appear more working class. She lost to the physics phd lady.

Isn’t that what Obama did with Raul Castro, negotiating with Cuba for some normalization after calculating that he had an opening politically? Ironically, this led to the repeal of the wet foot-dry foot policy for all Cuban illegal immigrants (many of which now voted for Trump lol).

It’s mostly a combination of “it’s not true; Israel did most of the killing that day” or “the rape and killing is overblown… but the actual invasion itself was a bloody low to Israel 🪂 yay.” Literal erasure of the sexual atrocity.
