Room 13 have be using their budgeting skills, preparing to host their own Christmas Day dinner!

There were definitely some surprised faces to see how expensive things are nowadays! But our P7’s worked well to create delicious looking menus that even Santa would be proud of! 🎄

Another outstanding performance from our SportsHall Athletics team! Our P6 and P7 pupils gave their all at the final competition of 2025! The results this team has come away with this term are a testament to the hard work and effort they have put in over the last few months! Well done #TeamBurnside

Room 12 have been investigating pneumatics this week, understanding how they work & how they are used in the real world. They made their own pneumatic system to control a puppet which they designed. Well done, we are so proud of your effort & accomplishments with this task.

Primary 1 have been learning all about People Who Help Us. We were visited by the Police and Fire Brigade. They told us all about their jobs.

Another amazing day as the second half of our athletics team took to the floor! A very competitive field but our P6/7 pupils put on a great display of teamwork, support, determination and great attitude. We are so proud of you all ⭐️

This Friday will be a dress down day to collect chocolate donations for our Christmas Fayre. It is also 'Be Bright Day' to raise awareness of winter road safety. Children are encouraged to wear something bright/fluorescent to help them be noticeable on the way to and from school.

In class today, Room 11 analysed the lyrics of the Scottish national anthem 'Flower of Scotland' linked to their Scottish Wars of Independence topic. They demonstrated brilliant creativity — being curious about the lyrics and confidently sharing their interpretations.
