What would you categorize the "eighter" that was something like "movie characters with food in their names" that was broken out into "human characters with vegetables in their names" and "animated characters with fruit in their names"? (I can't remember the exact two categories)

Maybe they think he's essentially "pulling the ladder up behind him" by only preventing new wealthy people? But even if it's just income tax a) you have to start sometime b) billionaires still make lots of money that is taxed ongoing and c) you are still rich after any wealth tax proposal I've seen.

My grandma used to use the coffee maker to make hot water for tea. One time she forgot to take out the coffee grinds. I do not recommend.

My grandma was from Virginia and definitely made sugarless cornbread. That part of the family had some choice words for what the sweet kind was called that I won't repeat here.

That's a great tagline for the amount of taxes billionaires should pay: strong floor, no ceiling.

500 acres times 19,000 cities/towns/villages feels really misleading because of how averages work. It's 28,000 acres per million people using their math. And that's solar thermal which is 3-5x as efficient as photovoltaic. A city of 2.5m would need 140 of these 500 acre plants.

Also, the "99 games-in-1" arcade cabinets that were almost certainly bootleg and/or had the worst games imaginable.

Rotating villains. Schumer wanted it to happen, and found enough people to throw under the bus to vote on it that are retiring or have re-elections way far in the future.

I'm surprised that the alt-text isn't something like "If you're far enough away from the epicenter and the earthquake happens very close to midnight you can predict that there will be an earthquake felt tomorrow at your location."

"The so called party of peace and love calling out someone for loving something. Libs are such hypocrites" - some right wing person

I don't know why, but I love that the word "reunification" is broken in half across a line-break.

Maybe 10-15 years ago. I remember traveling to Sydney in 2013 after buying some Bitcoin and thinking, this will be great when I can just get paid in this universal currency and not have to deal with currency exchange and Visa fees (it was like 0.001USD then). But Visa provides value for their fee.

They called Obama a muslim socialist communist. Those words just mean "the enemy" and have no meaning anymore. They think the city opening new grocery stores to provide groceries free from price gouging is the same as the city stealing the existing grocery stores and enslaving the owners.
