I loved the shows, DCAU, Spectacular Spider-Man, EMH, Green Lantern, Teen Titans, Young Justice... So much goated shit on the air. And I watched the movies too. But they never funneled me all the way into the books because I had to go massively out of my way for them

It was Marvel/DC's fuckup because they were only putting the comics in comic book shops. I was already a teenager by the time I saw a meaningful number of like, capeshit trade paperbacks at the store.

I identify with the "zillennial" cohort because I grew up with a shitty Windows ME machine, watched VHS tapes, and also had a smartphone by age 13
