But worst to worst, any illegal immigrant (and I was one for over a decade until I got married) understand and account for possibility there is always a risk to be one day deported.

No matter what anyone wanting to deport all illegals think, its simply not in the realm of reality. Illegals are making too much $ for too many industries, w/o them US economy, stock market and real-estate would crash.

How will this be handled I have no clue. First is to stop new ones coming over and speed up immigration courts. Trump also hade speech month or two ago about deporting illegals who commit crimes and there is F ton of those, then see about rest. Ppl who I fallow were not happy at all about it

But I am pretty sure they will be quite disappointed about it. in 2016 he said same think and deported less illegals than Obama in half of his admi. What created problem is reclassification of most illegals coming thru border as asylum seekers and receiving immediately benefits. Which is nuts

I had TDS in 2016 too. Pr 2025 was only pushed by the left as boogie man and you all eat at up. If it had any general support on the right I wouldn't try to deny it, I have no reason for it and ppl wouldn't joke about it on the right as they are not joking about hope for deporting il immigrants.

But it will still hurt like most hard medicine. Will companies try to go around it? Yes, I wasn't born yesterday, but as soon as it becomes more expansive to go around it they will adjust. But again it will require to create/educate specialist and this is a problem bigger than investment

If Trump had big balls enough and did what he recently floated about abolishing income taxes and fund gov only from tariffs like in past, everyone in world and there mother would invest in US, but that will not happen. I am sure he will try to offset cost of tariffs by some tax brakes

It took well over 3 decades to destroy/offshore US manufacturing base and to get it back is will much bigger problem b/c we don't have enough qualify ppl to the job and higher ed is teaching feminism instead of engineering so it will take time. But we need to start somewhere
