Hot Take: I truly hope all who believe TikTok is "compromised" & "censoring" truly stay away forever. Half-assed conspiracy disguised as "news" from both ends of the political spectrum is what ruined TT.

Spending some time this afternoon tweaking the return of TikTok so the algorithm ignores all the conspiracy posts about TT being back & making sure my FYP returns to cats, food, music, weird vintage video clips, animations, & comedy.
So far, it's exactly the same as the old TikTok.

Severely disappointed to see TikTok deciding to restore access to US users. They were in a better position with the app offline.
But I guess much like users going to Rednote, ByteDance has proven they are fine with walking away from the US.
I just wish they'd have left it offline until a repeal.
