Private sector job creation slowed to a near-standstill in May, hitting its lowest level in more than two years as signs emerged of a weakening labor market, payrolls processing firm ADP reported Wednesday.
Private sector hiring rose by just 37,000 in May, the lowest in more than two years, ADP says
The report comes two days before the more closely watched nonfarm payrolls count from the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

I seriously just don’t know how this guy lives through the day. How does SGA get out of bed without falling down? Into or out of a car? What if he has to step up onto a curb? Or worse, down a curb? Or what if there is no elevator and he has to go up or down stairs?

Non farm payrolls are up 228,000 in March - a very good number. Does this reflect the 216,000 Federal employees that were laid off last month? This doesn’t make sense. Hey @carlquintanilla.bsky.social and @cnbc.com Do these numbers make sense? So 444,000 jobs were actually created?
