Almost ten years since the referendum, they’re still casting around for ways to ‘leave the EU without really leaving the EU’. Unfortunatelly for them the UK has already left and without crossparty political consensus in the UK there is no way to significally improve the relationship with the EU .

It is a suicide note. If the ideas within it are really used to shape policy, then U.S. influence in the world will rapidly disappear, and America’s ability to defend itself and its allies will diminish. The consequences will be economic as well as political, and they will be felt by all Americans.

If you want to help the EU without much effort, you could always stop posting your unhelpful opinions about the speeches of EU citizens (Draghi) in EU towns (Rimini) about EU affairs instead of telling EU citizens not post about it. so you can misrepresent it. That would take no effort on your part

unfortunately this does not prevent UK politicians and pundits from trying to convince us that solving their self made problems should be the EU's top priority.

I don't think Draghi had the UK-EU relationship in mind, when he wrote this speech. Rather, he is concerned about the major challenges facing the EU, and the UK's problems after Brexit are certainly not one of them.
