A weekend Oslo trip to put some more miles into skimo skis and trying out telemark turns on narrower skis.
Now that I’m skiing heel free, I need tele bindings on other skis. As I only have a pair of Kreuzspitze Telealp TTS, I need threaded inserts on, as with all my other skis. This time I’m slightly improving the process, namely by using 8 bolts already fitted with inserts before epoxy application.

All but epoxy glueing done. I guess threaded inserts shouldn’t be encouraged for skimo equipment but this ski won’t be used that often and I hate to see these beautiful bindings sit idle much of the season. Toe pieces will be used on Kreuzspitze telealp system after Lofoten Skimo is over.

Kreuzspitze EL bindings, will be put on the skimo skis via threaded inserts, carefully dimensioned the holes, drilling have to wait until tomorrow. All this for Lofoten Skimo in Week 11.

Sunday morning. Woke up to a fantastic sky but temp a tad too high and snow too little. Yet found two hours to hike up Slettefjell and a bit of backcountry skiing. My telemark turns are not good enough for subpar BC terrains yet. A long way to go.
