Families could pay tens of thousands more out of pocket. Children could lose protections. Junk plans could deny coverage for pre-existing conditions.

Your voice matters. Tell your senators to support the clean ACA subsidy extension and protect affordable, comprehensive care for everyone.

The Senate votes TODAY on proposals that could change health care for families across Butler County. One plan extends ACA subsidies. The other raises premiums and deductibles while adding new restrictions on abortion and gender affirming care.

A little over a month ago, millions took to the streets for the No Kings protest, including thousands here in Butler County. Change happens when people act together, peacefully and persistently.

Change doesn’t happen by chance. It happens when people act together, peacefully and persistently.

Research shows that 3.5% of the population engaged in sustained nonviolent action: protests, boycotts, and labor movements, can tip the scales of history.

Did you know Butler Co has a contract with ICE to hold immigrant detainees whose only “crime” is being undocumented?

Butler County Dems believe that justice means treating people with DIGNITY, not detention. Join others in Hamilton on Tue, Nov 18 to show your support for immigrant families.

Many Republicans will cheer this result, but the truth is, it hurts all of us. Families are struggling, costs are rising, and too many representatives don’t have to listen.

This Halloween, the real monster isn’t a ghost. It’s a map that silences voters. We deserve better.

Republicans drew a map that could lock in 12 of 15 seats, leaving Democrats with just 3, even though Ohioans vote about evenly between parties. That’s not democracy, that’s rigged. A fair map would give Ohioans a chance to elect representatives closer to the actual 56/44 balance in the state.

Ohio’s new congressional map is a nightmare.

The administration can legally continue SNAP using contingency funds, but refuses. This isn’t about budgets. It’s cruelty. Tag your Republican reps. Demand they reopen the government and fund SNAP now. Butler County deserves leaders who feed families.
October 28, 2025 at 5:01 PM
Because of the Republican-led shutdown, SNAP benefits stop Nov 1. Veterans. Seniors. Kids. Working families. Millions could go hungry. Republicans are holding funds hostage to raise health premiums. They own this shutdown.
