For some reason I really hate I came to learn accidentally through my research, that the whole reason we say "head here" or "head to me" in English is because that's literally how it was said in Latin with the word for your head: "caput". So when we say "head" there isn't some alternative meaning 😭

As I reflect on the Oct 18 No Kings protests from afar during my visit to Shijiazhuang University in China, I see too many "time to fight for democracy before it's gone" posts, yet No Kings had no fighting, it was all pacifists. The time to fight is NOW, but you should learn from Mao, not Gandhi.
