I’ll have to check it out since I’m running low on Yaupon Tea myself. It looks like there are some interesting blends.

That’s true. I just wish people learned about and adopted Yaupon organically instead against the backdrop of devastating tariffs.

Mhm. Yaupon has been neglected and maligned in recent times, but ideally more people learn about it. I regularly have it in the rotation with coffee, tea, and other drinks as an option, all with different flavors and characteristics.

Older thread, but the “tea” is made from the leaves of the Yaupon Holly. The berries are not safe to eat (mildly toxic).
Yaupon Tea tastes similar to Green Tea but with a bit of grassy taste. It needs to steep longer than tea but as a beverage I’d consider it a tea. It’s not like coffee.
