Medicaid is now subject to new federal work requirements due to legislation passed in 2025. Under the OBBBA signed into law in 2025, Medicaid enrollees, 19-64, who qualify under Medicaid expansion must work at least 80 hours of work or approved activities per month to remain eligible.
